Sophie Abercrombie graduated from Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama where she also gained her dance teachers qualifications with IDTA and ABD.

Since graduating Sophie has worked in shows abroad taking on the extra role as Dance Captain, and performing locally at The Belgrade Theatre in numerous professional shows i.e. “The Twits”, “The Wedding”, Ensemble in the Pantomimes.

Choreographer for the BBC series “Danny and The Human Zoo”, directed by Lenny Henry.

Choreographer for “Born to Perform” at Manchester Opera House.

Sophie has taught and choreographed for various local dance schools over the years and looks forward to working again with En Pointe.

Sophie also works with SEND children during the day, where she is also training with “Open Theatre” for their teaching differently project!
